Bondurant Legal

MY BACKGROUND AS A PROSECUTOR
Prior to founding Bondurant Legal, I worked for seven years as a prosecutor for the 13th Circuit Solicitor's Office where I prosecuted a variety of crimes, including but not limited to DUIs, white-collar crimes, criminal domestic violence, murder, assault and battery, and drug crimes. As a prosecutor, I often had to navigate complex cases and work patiently to understand the roles, perspectives and expectations of all parties involved. I managed hundreds of cases at a time learning quickly the importance of organization and time management so that each and EVERY case receives the time and attention it deserves. This is the same expertise and experience I bring to your challenges.
As a prosecutor, I negotatiated thousands of deals. Obtaining a fair solution in a high-stakes situation where both parties are striving to "win" requires firm conviction, civil discourse and professionalism. Working for the State, I developed this approach helping to secure optimal resolutions for the citizens of South Carolina. As your attorney and advisor, I now offer it to you.
Finally, I have a wealth of courtroom experience. In nearly every legal situation, a trial is a good possibility if all negotations break down. For nearly seven years, I successfully tried numerous cases in the courts of South Carolina. I have spent countless hours of trial preparation including but not limited to questioning and preparing witnesses, reviewing and gathering evidence for trial, and trial strategy planning. During such an important time for you or your business, you need someone at your table who has been in a courtroom for years and will fearlessly represent your cause.
MY LIFE BEFORE BECOMING A LAWYER
Prior to law school, I lived, studied and worked in an international organization in Rome, Italy for nearly five years, where I became fluent in Italian and passionate about calcio (soccer). In 2001, I graduated from John Cabot University in Rome where I served as Vice-president of the student body and was recognized as the top student in International Affairs. While at John Cabot, I was chosen to represent my university at the Model United Nations in Cairo, Egypt. In 2003, after returning to the United States, I married my wife Stefania, whom I had met in 1998 studying abroad in the Netherlands. We attended the University of South Carolina School of Law together and graduated in 2007. Stefania currently works as Senior Corporate Counsel for Michelin in Greenville, South Carolina.
WHAT I ENJOY DOING OUTSIDE OF WORK
I enjoy the everyday moments with my family, aggressive pick-up soccer games on Saturday mornings, coaching little league basketball and soccer, and reading about everything from faith and health to personal and business development.
